...and against the Ravens, it's even sweeter.
Superbowl, HERE WE COME!!
And any Eagles fans out there, my condolences for the unfortunate end to your season. I remember all too well the pain of being stopped at the conference championships (thank you Patriots and Colts), and my husband is currently in his bed in Philadelphia, probably crying himself to sleep. But, I have to admit, I'm kind of glad it won't be the SuperPABowl... I'm not sure my marriage could survive that.

I'm actually excited again for the Superbowl this year! I'll have to be rooting against you though because Kurt Warner is still a hero in St. Louis:)
ReplyDeleteUmm...does this mean it's 'my' team (I'm from Arizona) against your team? Erp...
ReplyDeleteHey there!
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog and I LOVE it! My name is Julie too and I'm from Pittsburgh. I am super excited about the Pittsburgh Superbowl! It's funny that you mentioned your marriage not surviving because my sister and bro-in-law would be in the same boat - haha.
I also LOVE your blog design - it's so simple and creative.
Feel free to visit my blog. I'm going through a redesign and soon it will have a whole new look!
Julie
Mary and Kelly -- it's on! Arizona is going DOWN! Kelly, do you actually get to watch football over on the other side of the world?
ReplyDeleteJulie - Yay, Steelers! (I sent you the rest of my reply via email).
I hate to break up this Steelers lovefest, but the difference in the game was *one* instance of poor judgement on Flacco's part (second to last interception). Up to that point, the Ravens were marching on a game-winning drive. I know you were worried up to that point in the game Julie!
ReplyDeleteWhat do I care anyway? Ever since the Ravens thrashed (and I mean thrashed) my team, the Giants, in the 2001 superbowl, I've been numb to football.
I guess I like the Steelers--they got some character. Should be a good game...
Break up a Steelers lovefest? Bah. Go away.
ReplyDeleteActually, I was not worried at all up until that point. I have so much faith in the Steelers defense, and I have watched so many more games in which the Steelers were down in the last 2 minutes and came back to win than games in which the Steelers lost in the last 2 minutes. After watching a game a few years ago in which the Steelers were down by 14 with less than 2:30 to go, and wound up winning the game without going into overtime, I am truly a believer.
